Who is LYN?
Our Mission
L.Y.N.'s mission is to reach out to unhoused encampments supplying them with basic living essentials such as hot meals, perishable and non-perishable food, clothing, hygiene kits, gift cards, inspirational reading material and free mobile phones. We are actively building a relationship with these individuals so that we can offer other resources to those who truly want to make a change and assist them in finding employment, temporary shelter/housing which can ultimately lead to permanent housing. We are blessed to partner with Loaves and Fishes who are the suppliers of the hot meals and hygiene kits.
Compassion for the Unhoused
You know at any given time in our lives we can become unhoused at the drop of a hat due to unexpected life circumstances. We want this community to know that there are people who were once in their shoes and care about their current living condition.
