compassion for the unhoused community

Love Your Neighborhood  (L.Y.N.) is a new nonprofit  founded in March 2023 by Lynne and James Osborn of Fremont, California.  L.Y.N.'S  mission is to reach out to the unhoused community encampments (starting in mid-March 2024) to show compassion by helping supply individuals with basic living fundamentals such as hot meals, clothing, blankets, toiletries and mobile phones.  Once a rapport has been established within this community learning of other needs they have, L.Y.N. can then start referring individuals to housing programs and other viable program  resources within the city of Fremont.  L.Y.N. wants this community to know that their are people who love them and care about their current living situation.

You know, anyone of us can become unhoused for various reasons: leaving an abusive intimate relationship, sexual abuse, divorce, drug addiction, loss of a job and being evicted. Wouldn't you want to know that there are others in your community who want to bring a little hope?  

Please consider partnering with  L.Y.N. in helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves.   Proverbs 19:17 says: "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done".
